The important point in my mind for longevity, is not to only increase the life-span, but also the health-span, that is the highest quality of life possible. I believe that the health-span is only limited by one's imagination. I know that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience, and I do feel that we can grow to great heights through careful choices. Technology equals precision. It is only through precision that we can reach these wonderful heights. Just as a wealthy man, may see great views from his mansion on a high mountain, a truly spiritual diet will lead to wonderful views of creation. It is not only about diet, but about all of our choices. Everything is a frequency, and we must dial the frequencies in our lives needed to the precision of dialing a radio station, only when we turn to the exact frequency of our chosen station is that beautiful music station heard. Finding new frequencies, through search and creative endeavor, is the treasure hunt of a lifetime!
Some of these practices have helped me on various points of my journey, and many I'm still doing today. I continually discover new experiments to try as I learn, and further enhance my health using the ancient yet timeless spiritual techniques based on Pure Silence, Frequency, Inner Guides, Color, and more!

Today I would like to share my findings regarding pineapple! After having a difficult time incorporating this wonder fruit, I've finally done it. I know everyone's situation will be different, though there are usually some parallels. Since experience is so valuable, here is mine. I intuitively knew there was some powerful medicine here, but I was having some issues. Firstly, did you know that vine ripened pineapple is alkaline, yet unripe pineapple is acidic? Some even say this fruit may only ripen on the "vine". So this means its impossible to get alkaline fruit as it's usually shipped green from tropical countries to my country, USA, and others. I tried eating pineapple when I was in Arizona, even though I was so acidic sometimes my mouth would even bleed! Another issue for some may be that this fruit is relatively high in sugar, I myself have to be careful with this and its the main reason I eat just a cube or two. So why eat it at all? Well, It is a fantastic protein digester, and since our genome is made of entirely of proteins, I'd say that's a pretty big deal. The key nutrient in pineapple that does all this heavy lifting is bromelain . It is what's called an enzyme. Enzymes are the genetic keys that can unlock protein's potential. It is destroyed by heat, so only raw fruit will work. It's so potent, you can use it to tenderize meat. It's also known as an effective de-inflammatory and an anticoagulant. In other words it helps to keep your body running smoothly. Now, I've even found research that it is effective against certain cancers, check out the link here: Pineapple and Cancer So how did I learn to use it? I've tried eating different amounts and at different times of the day. I finally learned that less is more. In fact if I eat too much, I get very hungry. If you've read my article on the baking soda tea flush, I now follow that with a large cube of fresh pineapple I keep in the refrigerator in a glass container. Anything this powerful, I refuse to store in plastic. The reason I take the fruit then is that my body is very alkalized at this time and I have no problem with the extra acidity! I was very happy to discover this. Now I will eat a bit extra if I eat a big meal, but most days I just have this piece which is about a 2 inch cube in size. It makes me feel wonderful inside, like its cleaning my arteries, breaking down excess waste and proteins. It feels like a cleanse. What's also amazing to me is that I digest my food better, not only in the morning, but all day long. It is proof to me that the enzymes will stay active within the system for quite some time. I have better energy and I sleep better. Since learning about the wonderful baking soda flush, I can eat many different fruits if I choose. I also love to eat a berry cherry blend in a special longevity food I make. I will probably write about that another time. Hi, A few years back I didn't really believe I was deficient in vitamin D. I got outside every day, even if I was mostly clothed here in Oregon, I figured my face to the sun was enough here and there. Then my dad told me almost everyone in the USA is deficient. I heard this before and here I was being reminded once again. Hmmm, so I tried a couple of formulations. I felt worse? Hmmm. Some more research and I found that the preservative used in many supplements is a "preservative grade" vitamin E. I found that I was sensitive to this material. I later researched and found that some vitamin E's are made from coal tar, and no where near being a substance the body wants or needs. So after several misses I finally stumbled upon the above vitamin D you see in the image. After I took it, no reactions, yeah! After my body adjusted to it, my health hit a new level of well being. Yes, I was deficient, even though I did not test my blood levels, I feel I am okay, I take 5000 IU every day unless I will be out in the sun and exposed on a warm summer day. Why 5000? I use intentional silence to do my best to hear, feel, and see what it (spirit) is telling me (asking helps too). The vitamin D3 above contains MCT oil which is extracted from coconut and is a natural carrier for the vitamin D and helps with oxidation, though I always keep my open ones in the refrigerator. Hi, this has been something I've been doing for a long while, and that is, preparing the best water that I am able with current technology. I got into this research by necessity. A few years ago, I noticed that even though my water was filtered, it was bothering me. One day, I realized I had to try something. And that was to boil my water. I couldn't believe the difference. My stomach issue vanished. My filters weren't clogged or cheaply made. They are top rated and swapped at the recommended intervals or sooner and I still would recommend them, as they are really efficient at removing various substances from the water. See www.aquasana.com. No system is perfect though, I have found boiling fills a large part of this gap. I occasionally forgot to boil my water, but seeing my health rebound and drop over and over, I no longer forget. I eventually have gone to the Berkey Light filter you see in the image above this article as it is gravity fed, so I just fill up the top container and it filters so I am free to do other things. Its effective and efficient, and can also be used outdoors if there were any emergency. I would really love it, if it were glass, I usually avoid plastics, but I think any leaching is at least mostly filtered and boiled away. My bottom line is how do I feel, and this water feels good and tastes good! Speaking of glass, that is a Visions "Dutch Oven" next to it. I have three of them, and this is what I boil and store my water in on top of silicon hot pads. The glass gives the best taste, with no metal leaching like stainless steel etc. I checked into water distillation, but the minerals are removed, and that is not healthy water. Also, unless you really keep up on maintenance of the equipment, legionnaires disease could form. This has happened in some distillation plants I've read about. Most distillers also have the metal leaching problem. I also don't recommend bottled waters. They have plastic leaching problems that can raise estrogen in the body. Many are treated with ozone, which I can detect with my sensitive body, and it is irritating (even though according to manufacturers I phoned, it is gone by the time I buy it, I know water stores energy - see Masuru Emoto's work). I've also tried reverse osmosis, and it is stripped of life, no minerals. To me it has an artificial taste. So, if you want the best tasting, safest water I have been able to find so far, get a good filter that will remove as much of the man-made stuff and bacteria etc. minus the minerals possible. And then to boil it(I also always lift lid during boiling for about a minute so it can off-gas). It tastes like fresh snow melt to me. And if you want to give it the smooth mineral taste of some bottled waters, see my post on minerals and the product Concentrace. As mentioned elsewhere, I use silence, ask my guides, imagination, and feel to make all my decisions. Intentional silence helps give the focus needed to penetrate the invisible worlds to find the solutions we are after. -Towards health and love. UPDATE: Not too long after this I experienced some algae and/or bacteria growth on this filter system which began to slow the filtering. I simply took the system apart and brush all the algae with a clean toothbrush, rinsed thoroughly, and put it back together. Next time I may use a little baking soda as a safe cleanser. I wouldn't be too concerned if a little baking soda got through the filters into my water. Again, I boil all my water, so any trace bacteria left after filtering, will be boiled away (I recommend lifting lid for 30-60 seconds to let the boiling mixture off-gas before replacing the lid and letting cool).
These are the best shoes I've ever owned in my life! These are called ON running shoes. When I was young I had to wear special shoes, because I have always been quite bow legged, though its a bit less now. Therefore I naturally run a bit on the outside of my feet. Also I don't have a large arch, though not totally flat footed. Finally, when I was young I loved soccer, but my little knees took a pounding with that full size soccer ball. Later, the coach in High School loved my endurance running. But I just didn't love it like soccer, perhaps it was all the pounding. Later on I started to notice knee pain occasionally. This got to be a regular irritation in my late twenties and beyond. It never made sense to me that we always walk on rock, it didn't seem right or healthy. Then, I became concerned when I had to stop running due to a pinch I would get everytime right after with my right knee again. I started to seriously look for solutions. I bought at first an incline trainer, which was great, but I still missed running. Then I traded that in for a special flex deck treadmill from Nordic Track. Fantastic deck, I was starting to be able to run now starting slowly and with less pain. I was healing. But I really wanted to go outside, and get all that oxygen pumping through me. I realized that there just isn't the levels of life giving oxygen indoors, no matter how much we run and run. I had found an article on my favorite technology site Gizmag.com about some new pain free running shoes designed by an Iron Man athlete coming down the pipe from Switzerland. I waited over a year, finally they came to Footlocker. The shoes blow me away. Walking on concrete is so comfortable now, like I never could imagine, and running is so darn...fun! And that knee pain, what knee pain? I am back running in the outdoors breathing and pumping all that oxygen through my heart and reaping all the benefits. Also I find outdoor running to provide a much more rigorous workout with its whole body resistance, versus bouncing on a treadmill. I started to wear these to work too. Wow, I have way more energy at the end of my shift (I do catering). My other shoes just sit around now. I don't think I can wear anything else. I hope they make a dressier walking shoe for more formal gatherings. The technology of these shoes is actually very sophisticated as it absorbs lots of shock, and does it horizontally not just vertically like most shoes. That is the secret. UPDATE: Hey guys, my new favorite shoe is a brand called HOKA ONE ONE. I still love the ON shoes, and may get a pair again, I see they have some nice new styles. Though I see ON as being on the cutting edge for running, they are quick and comfy. HOKA's are the most comfy overall, I can stand on my feet longer, and they are like walking on fresh insoles, day, after day, after day, amazing! Now, I have been wearing mine for over a year and I took a loooong time to post this, and this is the reason. The shoe I bought is the Clifton (version 1) model. They were wonderful for about 2 weeks, and then the stitching that connects the foot bed to the sidewall in the shoes actually began to dig into my feet, it was terrible. I cut out the stitching and it helped a lot, and then I found the most comfort by removing the insoles. Strange as it may seem, the comfort was now back. I called the company and the lady told me that the stitching I removed was not "structural" so it should be fine. Now, why did this happen? My theory is that when you get into a specialized soft ride like this, you still need to attach it to something and make it strong, so that's what they did. But when the bed breaks in, which the soft bed does very well conforming to the foot, but those strongly stitched threads and insole didn't give in the same fashion. I wondered why they added it at all, and didn't build it differently? I think it's because these are worn by Ultra Marathoner's, the people who run over 100 miles at a time!!! These guys need their shoes to hold up. Where does this leave us? I'm not sure, maybe you won't have the issue with other models in their line, but I did, and with two different pairs of Cliftons. I customized mine, and I am happy, they are the best shoes I have ever worn in my life, period! I feel like other shoes are like going barefoot now, to primitive for anything but going to check the mail in:) So, give them a chance, and if you have to customize them, now you'll have some ways to do it. Hi, Today I want to discuss the vibrations of foods. Here we stand in the 21st century. Our foods options are various, and supplements almost endless. This also makes the choices that much harder sometimes. Particularly if you intend to make choices that will help your spiritual growth and enlightenment. I believe science and religions are after the same goal. To make earth as it is in heaven. One door to heaven is through silence. I've used silence to help me get closer to the goal. I want to list some of todays pitfalls in food/supplement choices. Most of you probably know many of these, some of our foods are laced with pesticides and other chemicals that can disrupt our reproductive organs, and are preludes to various cancers. Food contamination is common, in the form of molds, bacteria, etc. Even supplements, some of which are made in peoples kitchens or unclean warehouses, are not really helping our bodies as we had planned. Unfortunately with the dwindling of the US dollar, it is a race to trade our hard work for enough of those dollars to make a living. So, you see people everywhere, taking short cuts, or not being as truthful as they could, just to keep things going. It's tough. That's why I am writing this article. This is a heads up. You are on your own, mostly. I am sharing the magic and wisdom of silence, so that people can reach inside themselves, and learn to hear, see, and feel the frequencies their bodies are really craving. On earth currently there is very little telepathic or empathic sharing of ideas, more with women generally. But women get distracted by feelings, and men with concepts. Concepts are great for navigating the mind. But once you find the image or concept, its then time to study its frequency or vibration, then you see the truth. This is what I have discovered. Its a fine balance. So even though we live, as Americans and Europeans, in a time of relative abundance, its time we join the rest of the world. We must use our energies to only have the best and trim all the wasted efforts. The other 5 billion need our help and we have to share. So in the coming years as the earth re-situates itself, we can get wiser. What I am doing: My diet is very simple. Mostly cooked myself. I get most of my nutrients from food, though I do take a few very carefully chosen supplements. Everything I have chosen fits me, and may not work for you. I make mistakes, but I learn quickly. I have been blessed with a very sensitive system, though sometimes when I am struggling it may not feel so good. I eat organic as much as I can afford. Hi, As you probably know, I love therapeutic gemstones based on my product CHI REPAIR®. I thought I would share something I learned from a jeweler that helped me do some of my initial gemstones tests with his equipment. He one day talked to me how crystals form in the earth. He said an earthquake is a hiccup compared to the great pressures within the earth. The water is at least 10,000 degrees F inside the crust. It is so hot, it is in a rare jello form. It absorbs certain minerals based on its temperature as it moves around. These minerals precipitate within the jello and travel in a suspension. The recipe changes as it moves from hot to less hot and so on. It also has enormous electrical or induction fields that also interact with surrounding induction fields. These play off each other with great force, and pressures the water to move. As the water moves to cooler areas, trails of the minerals contained within are left as trails, and laid down by the induction fields designs. This is what will be the central point of a new crystal! It grows from this central trail of minerals with its multiple shapes depending on the mineral recipe. Piezoelectricity is in involved here too. The general idea of this is if a force strikes a quartz crystal a current is generated. Or inversely, if a current is applied to quartz, it will flex, as though a force has been applied. Millions of volts are being squeezed here and there inside the crust. I heard Mt. St. Helens explode but I did not see it. The jeweler watched the action after, he said he observed a giant storm cloud in the atmosphere, and huge lightning bolts were attracted by the open volcano, and its tremendous piezoelectric forces. The lightning bolts shot right down the center of the volcano! With life there are fantastic forces at work from the tiny to the infinite universe. Hi, Today's subject is on minerals. I have been taking my favorite mineral supplement called Ultramins by a company called Gematria. It is laser enhanced by the company's founder technology, he makes all the molecules in the product coherent and properly shaped, thereby enabling the body full absorption and utilization. I can't prove any of this, what I can prove is that I am more resilient and my nails grow much faster. I just feel more solid. It turns out our bodies are made of carbon, several gases, and minerals. All of the compounds and water are made from these. So eat your minerals! Today's secret is that I take one of these capsules and shake it up in a jar of water. I make my own mineral milk, or water this way! I am now starting with this first thing in the morning. I definitely see an improvement over just swallowing the capsules. I think this premixing gets the synergy going and it keeps going inside the body. I feel that the "mineral milk" I drink every day fights inflammation, as our bodies liquid instantly turns more alkaline with this mixture. I can actually feel relief in my whole body and joints. I am feeling a difference in my energy levels, and my nails seem like they are growing even faster!
UPDATE: While still taking Ultramins above, which mostly focuses on the macrominerals. I've stumbled across another world's best selling trace mineral product called Concentrace. Through a bit of study, I came across the information, that I'd either forgotten or haven't thought of, that trace minerals are just as essential as the macro minerals, in trace amounts. I have been taking them for a while now (few weeks) and I can say, what a difference! My body is constantly changing as I adjust my nutrition, and this is a nice leap in the direction I wish to go. I am more resilient, strong, and comfortable. On top of this, the product tastes great. Just a drop added to a quart (I use much less than some) makes my water smooth like expensive bottled water. -Towards health and love.
(*-Goji Berries) Hi, This is my favorite two breakfasts. The one on the left is organic egg whites I get from Wholefoods plus organic bulk goji berries. The one on the right is pumpkin seeds plus organic goji berries. Most days I prefer the egg white one, for the extra high quality protein to keep me going. To make the egg white one: Take about 1/4 cup goji berries while you heat up the oven to 350 degrees F. Take 1/3 cup egg whites and pour it in a visions glass saucepan (my favorite, oven safe). Then just toss in the goji berries. They are too dry for me, but they will soak moisture from the eggs while cooking. Then set your timer for 11 minutes and depending on your oven and pot they should come out perfect! Delicious and satisfying. Goji berries really pack a nutritional punch too. See the internet for lots of information. To make the pumpkin seed one, which is also very nutritious but a little lighter fare: put 1/2 cup shelled pumpkin seeds in the pan. Add a little virgin olive oil and coat all the seeds with a fork. While doing this, have oven heating on 350 degrees F. Set the timer for 14 minutes and put in the seeds only. While this is cooking soak 1/4 cup goji in a little spring water. When the seeds are done, drain the water from the goji and stir into the pumpkin seeds. Stick this mixture back in the oven for 5 more minutes. Let cool and viola, an extremely healthy breakfast or snack! These are working quite well for me. I hope someone out there can benefit or maybe gets an idea for something even better, please let me know!
UPDATE: *Hi everyone. I have some great news today! First off, let me just report that I have cut back on the above pumpkin seed recipe, as I have found the extra fat, a little more than I need. With the egg white version, I have a wonderful upgrade. I now add what's called "true" cinnamon. If you haven't tried this, you are in for a treat. The Latin name is "Verum", most stores sell a spicier variety called "Cassia". Though they are related, the Cassia version has a very thick bark and reports are that it can damage a coffee grinder if attempting to make your own fresh powder from cinnamon sticks. Verum on the other hand has delicate soft bark that can easily be chewed or ground into a fine sweet powder. It is not nearly as spicy as Cassia. It is also preferred according to reports for the famous blood sugar lowering benefits. Actually, when I was having some pretty trying problems in the blood sugar department, I found Cassia would just aggravate the issue, but Verum lowered my blood sugar very nicely almost immediately and I now have some every day in my eggs. So it has been a nice little miracle for me. The second thing I now do with my eggs is that I now in a separate cup crack a regular organic egg (I usually wash first in the sink). I take a spoon and separate the white from the yolk and put that extra white in with my goji and cinnamon dish to cook. The raw yolk is a powerful supplier of life force, antibodies, stem cells, DNA, RNA, undenatured proteins, etc. The issue that I was having was finding a substance that I could add long term without side effects that would help me to digest it properly. After trying everything from iodine, to several herbs, I struck upon using a small amount of Kombucha Tea (I use the original enlightened variety from GT's Kombucha- found in many health food stores). I use one teaspoon per day per egg yolk. Stirring thoroughly I let stand for 10 minutes. At this point it is digested by the enzymes of the Kombucha and is liquefied. This is another little miracle for me, and I hope for you too. We deserve a happy and healthy life! The final new thing, is I am adding a little Vanilla to this mixture. I am trying both whole ground Vanilla bean powder, as well as an alcohol free glycerin based Vanilla extract. I will come back here after I am confident in the winner of these two choices to hopefully help you make yours too....Okay, I'm back already...the winner is (for me) - organic whole ground Vanilla! It took a little getting used to because it is a little more "earthy" but the Vanilla taste overtakes it, and the aroma is phenomenal. It just makes me a little happier everyday:) This is the brand I am currently using: also I forgot to say a very important detail regarding the cinnamon, I would now like to address. I saw after a couple of days chewing on some of the Verum cinnamon sticks that I passed some small parasites. (More on parasites and their removal in a future post). I then immediately noticed a long standing light pain/or sensitivity in my solar plexus simply melted away! It is interesting that the sticks were not organic, makes me wonder if that somehow contributed to this miraculous expelling (pesticides plus cinnamon? who knows...), I do know I love the organic cinnamon, and chew on a stick occasionally, and my stomach still feels great, and my blood sugar is much more under control. -Best, Mark (* Cinnamon, Vanilla)
Update on the Enzymall product. I have read many positive "science" reports from products that use titanium. I have a toothbrush that has a titanium rod in it. It is a very effective cleanser. I found out through testing that the reaction does create free radicals. I never use toothpaste with this brush (called a Soladey) because it really increases the unstable radicals it creates many fold. I keep the toothbrush in a ziplock bag when not in use, and I only use it occasionally for plague removal. I did notice this Enzymall product contains titanium dioxide, I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue, but it is. I am quite sensitive so I am like a yellow canary, here to warn you that the coal mine is dangerous. I did like how this product has a time release effect. But I don't recommend it after further testing. I am now onto a product called Solgar Pancreatin. It is also time released as it is coated and it doesn't release in the stomach. It does have other binders and ingredients I haven't tried so I will have to test some more. I only use enzymes when needed like when I am taking Iodoral, which it now appears I will not do every day, as it is not needed, and it is also a little strong for me. By the way, here is the first negative against titanium dioxide I have read on the internet, I found it on wikipedia " The titanium dioxide particles used in sunscreens have to be coated with silica or alumina, because titanium dioxide creates radicals in the photocatalytic reaction. These radicals are carcinogenic, and could damage the skin." So, if they can damage our outsides, of course the same goes true of our insides. UPDATE: I am currently only using this product as needed. For some reason my digestion is working quite well these days. These days I do have an occasional fiber based product if I get a little bloated (I'll blog about it below, it's called Super Colon Cleanse), and seems to be usually all I need. I do not recommend just taking enzymes every meal unless you find it is needed. From my research it is best to have a balanced enzyme supply, not too little, not too much. UPDATE: I am now am using Bromelain and Kombucha (which is mentioned in a separate article already). I will write about Bromelain at some point. Enjoy! -Towards health, Mark
These pictures are of my daily meal. Yes, I eat almost the same thing everyday, just like many third world countries. That is because I eat what my whole body wants, not just what my tongue wants, sorry tongue. Though it is pretty happy too. There is a 2 inch piece of grass fed marrow in the rice in picture, I only eat this once a week typically due to costs, and conserving earth's resources. It is a tremendous immune system booster. Think chicken noodle soup bones, but too me this is even stronger. It turns out the bone marrow is the richest source of adult stem cells in the body (in this case the cow's). I don't know what survives cooking, but it is still something that gives me a wonderful day long health buzz. My body loves it! Its cooked in about 2 cups of dried long grain brown rice from Lundberg Eco farms brand. I've added some virgin olive oil, sprinkled in organic turmeric, organic dill, and just a dusting of Now brand desiccated Argentine beef liver. When I first started the beef liver, it was a real life saver, as I was having trouble with my blood sugar, there is something in this that helped me to process the glucose in the rice, and so I keep with it. Also the olive oil slows down the absorption of sugar. On the right picture we have a bed of stemmed, washed, and tossed in olive oil organic kale. Next to it is a organic corn tortilla (I like to use blue, but Wholefoods just stopped making them, so I have to find another source, preferably locally) on a little oil. On this I've made a moat out of skinless, boneless, salt-less pink salmon (I buy bpa free cans of wild pink salmon from Trader Joe's). In the moat is an organic egg. When the rice is all done, I put it in a large glass bowl, and mix in the kale, egg, and salmon. Fit for a king! UPDATE: I've had to avoid most fruits, and here is why. A little known truth is that fruit that is not ripe (which helps to ensure its fresh arrival while traveling the highways of this country) is that it is higher in acids. As these break down and the fruit is riper it becomes more alkaline. The problem is when the fruit is not vine ripened, a full natural ripening from my experience seldom occurs. There is almost always some extra tartness. This tartness is acid, and acids irritate inflammation, which is related to all diseases (there is even a Time magazine article on inflammation's common threat). So most fruits in in the store lean towards the acid side. An exception I've found is Goji berries. I don't know why. Another exception are Dates (though too sweet for my sugar tolerance) Bananas (must be ripe, spots are good), and Papayas. The Bananas still have some acid so I must combine it with food and not have it last thing in the day. I usually have a smoothie first thing in the morning. I make it with 2 ripe bananas, a handful of sunflower sprouts (I grown mine, very easy), a handful of organic carrot "chips", some Ultramins and Concentrace (articles featuring these on this page), some Ceylon cinnamon to help control blood sugar, and a tablespoon of unsalted peanut butter. I've found that the digestion process is greatly improved for me and the boost lasts for a few hours (I will do a separate article sometime on my smoothie maker and possibly move this article to accompany it). I also like to have some Kombucha and or some Papaya after large meals for extra help with digestion. -Towards health and love.
Hi, Today, I am wanting to talk about Iodine. I've had a nail infection that is slowly healing but has been around for a long time. This is actually quite common in our society, and there is actually no official cure for this yet. Though there are many home remedies people try. I usually don't do too well with typical pharmaceutical drugs and their side effects. So I looked to nature for a more balanced approach. I was hunting for natural antibiotics. I have tried many "anti" herbs including, golden seal, japanese knotweed, lomation dissectum, olive leaf, oregano, garlic, oregon grape root, noni, etc. Some of these were difficult to take, but I did see some success with all of them to some degree for varying amounts of time. I studied also Iodine. I started to put it on my feet, and soak in it. I felt a new surge of health. I knew there was something special about it. But when I tried to take Lugols brand liquid Iodine internally, it burned my stomach. Meanwhile, a while back I read an article on a science study being done on main stream antibiotics. I read that alone, some of these drugs could not defeat certain superbugs, but if combined they could! Aha, I thought, I will combine all of my herbs into a tea, and drink it! And you know, this produces for me and my girlfriend a wonderful sense of wellbeing. The thing is, I noticed the feeling would go away for me, it wouldn't even last a week. Unbeknownst to me till recently, my small infection on my foot was eating away at me, wearing down my health, creating an all-body low grade infection. I again went back to Iodine, this time I tried a glycerine/Iodine solution. It was supposed to be easy on the stomach, it was, but it had little effect versus the Lugols. Now what. Another problem with the Iodine, was that it is such an effective killer, I was getting constipated, as it was knocking out my healthy bacteria. This doesn't happen to everybody, but I sense it did with me, because my immune system and bacterial colonies are not strong enough in numbers. What to do. What to do. One day, I thought, I am going to try this Iodoral brand of Iodine. It is tablets of Iodine, supposed to protect the stomach, it uses Lugols. I was hoping it wouldn't encase its power like the glycerine seemed to for the other brand. I got it, and I was so happy when it didn't hurt my stomach. Yeah! I could also feel the Lugols working, I was excited. The really important thing about Iodine, is it is an antibiotic that the body can store!, in the Thyroid. This will enable it to work in my system to fight of the enemies for a lot longer than my antibiotic tea was achieving. Sure enough though. Soon, I was constipated. I went poking around a website called earthclinic.com I read others were getting constipated too. One man suggested using enzymes to cure the problem. I thought, yes, that might work. I have tried many plant based enzymes (fungal derived) with varying success. My most powerful enzymes, and most effective I had tried was a product by Twin Labs called Super Enzymes. It was in quickly digesting gel capsules, and the problem was, it burned my stomach. But what I also learned was that Pancreatin which are the digestive enzyme solution from an animal is way more effective for me @ digestion for all types of foods. I have now found another enzyme product called Enzymall by Schiff. These have similar ingredients to the Super Enzymes but they are in a tablet and take up to an hour to dissolve. I thought, this would give it time to enter the digestive tract, away from my stomach. It worked! So the magic is taking Enzymall with Iodoral (see update above with Solgar enzymes)! No more constipation. And I am healing. I am also alternating days with probiotic pearls I take. I am just gauging the frequency of my body. I'm letting it guide me, bit by bit. I have some different theories regarding the bacteria in our bodies. One thing I discovered from a company that makes Enzalase which are plant based enzymes, is what they said. They said something interesting. That the enzymes break down the food in our tract, and this feeds the bacteria, so it helps to build them up. I thought about this, it feels true to me. Bacteria need a steady supply of food that they can digest. So this is another puzzle piece to how the immune system works. I hope you enjoyed this research, and maybe someone out there will try this remedy that is working magic for me.
UPDATE: My cycle of constipation with this product passed. Now I take 1/2 a tablet every other day or so. It is still an important pillar in my health regime. I love how much clearer I feel these days, thanks to this wonderful product. Towards health, Mark
UPDATE: It may be a coincidence, and I haven't heard other cases of this, but I am a bit concerned this product may be getting to the eyes and doing a bit of damage there. The reason I say this is for one, I'm getting a bit of blurry vision in the mornings until they clear up. This is new for me. I notice that colors seem brighter when I take the iodine, so to me this is an indication that the solution is reaching the eyes during its circulation. I've also used iodine on cuts and sometimes it is a little "rough" on those areas, I've had to be careful as it will kill the germs but it also can take longer for the skin to heal. So I am cautioning in the use of this product. I still use it externally as a foot soak. Since I've been doing this externally only, it does seem my eyes are beginning to sharpen again in the mornings. Perhaps the skin is acting like a filter for the harmful components or crystals? Not all the way back but getting there. Externally it is much easier to use Lugols iodine in the liquid form. I usually buy the JC Crows brand on amazon.com 2% strength. Many people rave about this product in health circles for many uses, I'm just suggesting caution, particularly if you have sensitive vision.
Hi, I am working hard on defense right now. Whats next will be things to build up the body, I have some exciting things I want to try, one of which is organic freeze dried bilberry powder by the Eclectic Institute. I used to think that they were just small blueberries, but I found out the pigment inside the berries is a dark red to purplish black color. Blueberries as most of you know, are greenish to clear inside, much less of those healing pigments. These pigments are magic for the eyes and the immune system. And speaking of eyes, I want to say the key to my success is using the third eye or imagination and frequency, I talk more about this in my radio shows on this website. Update: A bit too sweet for me, and am also thinking freeze drying is not ideal as the structure is fragmented. More testing needed but I will leave that to those who can tolerate the more sweet foods. I prefer unsalted blue corn to get these blue pigments.
Air quality has become more and more important to me these days. As a boy, I grew up playing in farm fields, in the woods, and by the ocean. I noticed a difference in the city, and after a few years of it, I noticed I was missing the energy of the air. Then I got a job driving in traffic. My first car for the job had no AC. So I drove with the windows open all spring and summer. After a while, I just didn't feel as healthy. I started to feel like a smoker! Finally I said, enough is enough. I started to research. I found an air filter for my car, for my house, and learned about how plants cleaned the air I breathe. Hi, Okay, this is about sun gazing. I feel strongly about connecting with the sun. I also however feel just as strongly about using precautions, regarding sun gazing techniques currently in vogue. Sun gazing is the act of attempting to gain health and energy by looking at the sun. Now this must be done during safe times. For now, I believe when looking directly at the sun, the only safe time is when it is orange and right at the horizon, about the first 5 and last 5 minutes whether at sunrise or sunset. While using my silence techniques, I have discovered some new ways to connect to the sun. With some very exciting results. Living in Oregon, I've found it very challenging to do regular sun gazing at the appropriate times. Due to clouds laying as a bank right where the sun should be! This has happened more times than I could count. I had pretty much given up, until I could move further south, which was and possibly still is, in my plans. While in silence, I had the thought, perhaps there was a new way to connect with absolute safety, even with the sun at higher altitudes. I began to experiment. Using what I call frequency to find the sweet spot in my search. I discovered, first the well known benefit of closed eye sun gazing. Much worth the effort, though not as exciting as sun rises and sets. So I plowed on. I eventually discovered, I could do closed eye gazing, and then while looking first right for just a split second, and then left for a split second, closing my eyes in between, I could let a bit of sun hit the peripherals of my eyes. This way it is an indirect look and not aimed right at my pupils. I do see a little glow behind my closed eyes to each side, this though quickly diminishes, and meanwhile I feel my body fill with light! I feel the energy lift inside my body and even around the aura of my hands and then it slowly diminishes, so I do it for a few times until it feels stabilized. I got excited and do this whenever I could and the sun is out. Feeling uplifted each time. But I wasn't through. One day, doing this, I had the thought, if I can breathe in the Chi Spray that I make, and fill my lungs with the energy, perhaps I could do the same with the sun? I tried it. At first it made me happy just to do it, but with mild results. Silence told me to use my imagination. So I looked directly at the sun behind closed eyelids. This time I imagined pulling in photons from the sun. I imagined energy entering my lungs, and I saw that some of that light was particularly bright. Almost like fireflies. Yet if I breathed out too quickly, out they would go too. So I did it again with focus, this time I held the air in. It took about 30 seconds, but I could see the bright photons merge with my bodies tissues!!! While this was happening I almost felt like I had just eating something sweet. I felt a surge of sweet energy and upliftment that was incredible. SUN UPDATE: I've found the effects are even more pronounced facing both open palms to either side of the sun while gazing and breathing. I also suggest removing your shoes and grounding to the earth, at least in socks, during the practice. I believe this helps us to integrate the energies, as it moves to earth through our bodies, not overwhelming our systems. I hope you get a chance to try this. It is life transforming. Everything is getting better for me as the vibrations are lifting me into a new life. SUN UPDATE: This is the latest closed eyes sun gazing technique I use, and is a variation of the above. I sit on a small wood stool facing in the direction of the sun. I remove shoes, so my socks or feet rest on the ground. I rub my hands together till they feel lightly stimulated. I face both open palms to the sun either side of my face where I imagine I am forming a magnetic ball that if it were physical would just touch my lips. I let the sun warm my face. When I see bright red warm light behind my eye lids, I imagine pulling on a photon stream from the heart of the sun that is brilliant and almost too much to look at and I take a deep breath and pull it to through the magnetic ball I'm holding and deeply into my body to my lungs. This ball appears to let the energy build as I take in the breath. Now I hold this stretched sun photon stream inside my body for 21-30 seconds as I see it as still connected to the sun as my body downloads the wisdom and health of this energy. So the energy is stretched and held inside temporarily. I then release it when I feel some energy has transferred to my being which it then shoots back quietly to the sun. I do this at least 3 times. I feel wonderful, renewed and bright. Very special. Enjoy! Note: I now hold open mouth to the sun while holding breath. SUN UPDATE: A slight modification to the "seeing bright red warm light behind the eyelids" part of the technique. I look a the sun for just enough time, usually 1-3 seconds depending on time of year, cloud cover, etc., so that when I close my eyes to do the breath I can see a spot of brightness, but not too bright of a spot, behind my dark eyelids. It may be a simple thing, but when I discovered wet bath brushing I have never turned back. Bear with me, the results are beyond ordinary. When we slather soap on ourselves with our hands, our hands the tools we use to clean the pores, wipe away grime, and perhaps give a little needed rub to our muscles. I thought these were good tools, after all, I'd used them all of my life. One thing always bothered me though, I could never reach the small center area of my back, and it became more difficult as I became a little older and bigger. When contemplating the issue one day, I'd remember dry brushing I'd heard about here: Optimum Health Institute in San Diego. I spent a week there a couple of different times. Great place! They explained that if you brush the skin on your whole body towards the heart, that the toxins will get flushed away much easier, as this is the way the lymph fluid goes. Honestly, though I didn't care for this extra task in my daily regime and found it a little uncomfortable. So back to my day of trying out my just purchased bath brush, I reasoned that it didn't really matter if the skin is wet or dry, the same action is happening, just with more lubrication when wet. The first day I tried it I won't forget. I felt so clean! So awake and invigorated! I felt like a racoon that just had a bath for the first time, and when I got out of there, I ran around showing my new shiny self:) I really do feel healthier now, and I never shower without one of these. I may use my hands here and there for sensitive areas, but the bulk is done with the brush. I feel there is a lot going on here the eyes cannot see, but you can definitely feel. I feel better circulation, more energy, better sleep, easier to wake up after a shower, and just generally more healthy. It is a huge leap forward in removing grime, dead skin, and increasing circulation on our largest organ (the skin). So go pick yourself up a bath brush (I now prefer the plastic ones with boar bristles for feel and long life) and perhaps you will never turn back to your old ways either. Try to buy it in person and give it a little test on your hands, make sure it is not too harsh or soft for your skin type (note that brushes do slowly soften over time). Enjoy!
Hi my fellow travelers of life! Today, I would like to talk about massage. If you haven't tried one, I urge you to go out and pay for at least one in your lifetime, it's that powerful, and may awaken the desire to heal your body more in this special way. The times I've had one, I always realize that there are parts of my body that really needed it. I sleep very deeply after, a sign of the health and the renewal it imparts. I find though, the occasional massage I receive, though cherished, is usually not enough to support my daily needs. In particular, I've found with some extra attention to my legs, my health increases several fold. It's a bit difficult to explain, but my legs then feel alive and elastic. If you think about it our legs are around half of our body length, but how often do we care for these faithful tools we were given? I once heard on TV that the calves hold so much blood they perform like our second heart. So, I looked this up for this article. I found that the Soleus muscle in the calves actually helps drive the long trip the blood makes to the legs, back to the heart. This is an extremely important function, as of course without blood, there is no life. This ensure the constant removal of toxins, and refreshing the blood with nutrients and oxygen that then return to the legs to help you feel alive! The two massage tools you see on the left are in green, the Medi-Rub and in red, The Stick. Whenever I get ready to leave the house, I rest my feet on the Medi-Rub as I proceed to put my shoes on. Then I spray a little colloidal silver (I like Purest Colloids brand) on the The Stick (to sterilize it) and rub all of the soft areas of my lower legs. The Stick really adds to the soothing and powerful vibrations of the Medi-Rub and it is much more pleasant this way. It works like a flexible rolling pin, so you can knead out sluggish or stiff areas. Hi all. I am taking a break today from talking about diet, supplements, and other gadgets regarding health, happiness and longevity today. I remind myself on a regular basis to try and see as much of the big picture as possible, so I can retain a healthy and balanced perspective. For instance, I might think of the size of space that is beyond the earth. There are estimated billions and billions :) of galaxies in space. Yet, if just looking at ours, the Milky Way, lets say we do a thought experiment. Lets say I hold a flashlight at one end, you are standing at the other end waiting for me to turn on the light. Okay, I turn it on. How long before you see it?.....100, 000 years! The Milky Way is estimated to be 100, 000 light years across. Light travels fast, this is a VERY big space we are in. Now that we feel all expanded hopefully. Let's talk about religion. Ouch, did I get a reaction there? All kidding aside, this topic isn't exactly so easy for people to swallow, I don't blame them. It is a tired subject, with out much proof for many if heaven exists at all. Yet, I have found a non-denominational teaching. So, it doesn't matter what you believe, you can check it out if you'd like. I've told some people about this, whom I believed would really enjoy it. Some say they would just rather live there day to day life. Yet so do I, life has much to offer. After over twenty years with this path, I have discovered that without the spiritual side, I am only living half of a life. Let me give you an example. I keep a dream journal. I also do spiritual exercises before bed. If I am very quiet and peaceful and simply watch the night unfold behind my closed eyelids, the dream worlds begin to appear. Then I drift off to sleep and have many nightly adventures, some that are as real as daily life! When I arise in my earthly body, I write down the dreams that have an interesting energy to them. As I go about my daily life, I think about the adventures I have, and I've realized it now feels as though I'm living 24 hour days! I feel so enriched. I want to say, this earth world we live in is delicate and beautiful, and is just one of countless worlds to visit. I earn these worlds with my imagination, and there are many tour guides, though many are poor in knowledge, don't waste your time with these. I suggest giving the Eckankar Masters a try, as they are tour guides of the highest order and only wish for you to completely know yourself as love, and your creator. It doesn't matter what teachings you study, sometimes it is good to get out of the house (body) and find out for yourself the spaciousness of space! Note that if you decide to try to tour the infinite worlds, know that if you ask for protection from these Eck Masters, you will have it. You may not always see them as they only appear as needed. Dreams and imagination are the door. So, now I want to say, if we have an enriched life, we feel happier. This happiness is wonderful for our health, releases endorphin's and melts stress. Longevity and human potential would not be complete if we did not discuss life beyond this one. Infinity is my kind of longevity. Though I just watched a video that says currently only 1 in 5000 lives to be hundred years old, How to live to be 100 I am not just trying to lengthen my lifespan. I am trying to broaden my vision. I am finding for a while now, that the higher quality of life and frequency that we can vibrate from, the more we can experience and enjoy. My desire is to Master life, and leave when I desire. Hi, hope you are well today! I'd like to talk about saunas. I've had a lot of experience with steam, heat, and infrared saunas. In my experience, infrared has them all beat. Let me tell you my story. I took the occasional heat sauna at a gym, I would go back and forth between the super hot! sauna and the shower which unfortunately used tap water, so it really dried out my hair. Then back into the heat again. The air was so dry and hot it was almost hard to breath. I did feel really refreshed after, so this kept me going. I just wished it was more enjoyable. This brings me to steam saunas. I knew I wanted to get away from the chlorine and I heard people coughing in the steam room sometimes. I was concerned with the lower temperatures in there, the germs would just circulate. So I bought my own steam sauna "tent" for use at home and I could now use purified water to put in the included boiler. I was in heaven. This tent left my head in the cool air while my body got nice and hot and steamy. So moisturizing, and when I was all done, I would just jump in the shower, wipe away the sweat and feel great. Clean up was a nuisance though. The whole tent was wet of course and difficult to completely dry in all the nooks and cranny's. So, it wasn't long before mold took over and covered a lot of the material after about a year of use. Eventually I just had to throw it away. I could have use chemicals but I am sensitive to almost everything but soap and water (I like miracle II soap for hands, and I only use shampoos for showers, no bar soaps.) After a while I was really missing my saunas. I had heard about infrared but I thought it was probably just some techno-wizardry that wouldn't really work. I was wrong. And after I found out that even our kitchen oven's give off infrared heat, which I have always loved, sitting by the warm oven as foods baked, I jumped in. I liked keeping my head cool, and I had read an article stating that we actually shouldn't heat up the "computer" between our ears. This made perfect sense to me. It also showed a heat map with the head area showing blue which meant this area is naturally cooler than the rest of the body. So I ordered the single person unit you see in the picture on the left. Let me tell you that first sauna experience was a memorable day. The infrared deeply penetrates the tissue, so you not only get the wonderful heat sensation of a sauna, you get a kind of warm healing glow. And it lasts for a few hours! I always feel all the old toxins and wastes leaving my body (see internet for more studies on this wonderful experience). A very therapeutic treatment. Okay, next the foot sauna (pictured to the right). I actually got this to help me with a nail infection. It is promoting healing in that area but ever so slowly. I do not believe the foot sauna gets hot enough under my nails to cure this problem. I am getting head way though, also with the help of iodine and more to be explored in another post. So this sauna wasn't used as much after a while. Then I discovered a couple of things. First I took out the lining that was inside. I was always concerned with the cleanliness of that, so now the issue was gone. It still worked just fine without it. Next, it has an irritating clicking noise because you had to use the analog timer to get it to turn on. I figured out a solution by turning on the timer to quarter of the way so the knob was perpendicular to the timer unit and simply strapped a zip tie around to get it to stop clicking while remaining on. It worked! So I started using this to keep me warm for my before bed meditations, and sometimes while working on my computer. Wow, what a treat. No matter how cold the room, hot feet would keep me warm all over and for the cost of about two light bulbs worth of electricity. Not only that, I can feel that deep healing infrared energy in my legs as I sleep. This unit with my easy chair and a blanket, have really opened doors for me on cold winter nights when I wish to enter deep meditation. The great thing about both of the saunas too, is no concern for mold or any other upkeep. They are always clean and dry, I just lay some towels in there, and dust the outsides occasionally. Hi everyone. Hope you are having a healthy and productive day! The pictured device is an inversion machine. Its a bit different than most, because you hang from your thighs instead of your ankles. I tried an ankle set up and it didn't not work for me because I have a reasonable amount of hair on my legs and it pulled on them though it did give a nice full body stretch. I need this machine mostly for my back though, so I like the above setup much better. It is called an Invertrac. What I've learned is that hanging upside down is really great and renewing for us for a number of reasons. Firstly there is a yoga pose called the "king of all asanas" due to the beneficial effects on the whole body. This pose is a kind of headstand. It is named the king for a few important reasons. One of these is delivering extra blood and nutrients to the brain and can even improve nourishment and growth to the hair. Another reason is the fact of gravity. We are capable of being upside down but of course we rarely do it unless we use this equipment because ordinarily it is just not convenient. Gravity is persistent nonetheless and there is a constant pressure on our bodies towards the earths surface. When we flip upside down, suddenly the pressure is reversed. Any restricted blood flow or pinched areas in the back become free. The increased blood flow encourages healing of the back and any area which benefits from the release of the pressure. All of the discs in our back have increased blood flow while in the upside down position and get a break from gravity. You may find yourself deeply relaxing in this state and doing deep sighing as the tensions are released. Now anytime I get a back kink I hang on this machine, one to a few times for a few days depending on the severity. Usually it doesn't take too long at all for the pain to just disappear! This, with no expensive chiropractor visits. I like to also hang to simply stretch. I final very important benefit, is for the posture. Hanging upside down straightens us and teaches our body the correct position to be in while upright. I feel until something better comes along, that inversion of some sort is a necessity while living within earth's gravity field. If you can't buy a unit right now, try putting a towel or cushion on a metal bar at a park and hanging upside down. Or you may even come up with a creative way yourself. Inside our bodies is a constantly changing ecology of bacteria life. It changes based on what we eat, and secrete in the way of hormones etc., exercise, and environment all play a part too. I've discovered in the less than optimal situations that arise on present day Earth, occasionally many of us get the "bloat". Sometimes we pass gas. We may laugh, but this is actually a dangerous condition for the body. Our intestines upon getting too little oxygen, too much gooey foodstuffs, too many putrefying bacteria from contaminated foods, and other factors lead us to this condition. It can be very uncomfortable, may give us restless nights of little sleep, poor attention span, and loss of productivity at work. If only we could just call the "plumber" and have it fixed! Well, let me share with you, that the above product works gently but well. I've tried several, what I like about this one is affordability, easy to take (just put a tablespoon into some water, stir and drink quickly before it thickens) gentle and effective. I like to take it at bed time. (The powdered version works better than the capsule version) When I have this condition occur, I very often feel "stuck". This powder gets things moving, albeit slowly, within a few minutes and the relief comes soon. Not to be used daily. I recommend a good fiber diet and fruit and vegetables. My favorite daily fiber is brown rice. I have it for one meal everyday. I also put olive oil in my rice, see post higher up on this page for some of my meal ideas. Another fantastic use for this is to prepare for a cleanse to give a quick start and also to prepare to cleanse out the large intestine with an Enema or Colonic. See, an Enema for example cannot reach the small intestine. The stomach empties its contents into the small intestine which is roughly 25 feet long and through a one way "valve" into the large intestine which is up to around 10 feet long. So if you take this product the night before the procedure, and have your elimination first before your treatment the next day, you will sweep out the small intestine, and anything left behind will get swept away with the Enema. I actually do this 2 step cleanse myself every season of the year (or more if I feel ill for example). I actually have not missed a day of work due to illness in over 8 years in large part due to this preventive measure! I will write another post on Enemas and my fantastic results with them. This is an ancient technology that has been lost to our Grandmothers that the Essene's practiced in the desert long ago. Without a clean body, it is difficult to have a clear mind, as the brain is attached to the body :) A clean body will add years to the quality and quantity of life. May peace and joy be yours-.
Hi, hoping you are having an enjoyable and interesting day. One of the most important things I've learned about health is to listen to my body, especially while in meditation, visualizations, and during rest/sleep. Also, to be willing to make adjustments day to day based on my true needs. For instance, I may schedule a dose of a certain herb or food for an "x" amount of times per week. I then sense a change in my body, to which I may increase/decrease the dose, or discontinue the substance temporarily/permanently. I can't see the future, and I try not to repeat past mistakes, but I can control what I put into my body in the present! I find that life will reflect to us, working even through other people, to tell us if something is off. In fact I commonly use this as a guide. Everyday we are designing our lives chemically and electromagnetically by the choice of our thought "movies" and food/substance choices. We drift in an endless sea of energy! Another substance I've recently revisited but didn't appreciate nearly enough in my youth is Royal Jelly. Another longevity tool! Please Wikipedia or Google this amazing substance to learn of its wonders. What my body has told me is that this is a wondrous substance capable of regeneration of the glands, nervous system, and brain. I'm finding my stores of protection against stress are bolstered. I feel a sense of renewal and youth. My brain works better, and my memory has been improving. I do many things for my health that may also be contributing to these findings. Yet, as I listen to my body and think of Royal Jelly and the feeling it has been giving me, these are the ideas that come to me. Beyond learned thought, trust that frequencies can give the answers of life. Your heart will know what is best, if you can get quiet enough to hear and feel it. May your body sing. Best, Mark.
Hi! This has been a long time coming. There is much to learn about salt yet. I do research other people's work, yet to me the science of feeling is the most important and advanced if done with clarity. Several years ago, I realized through the clarity I was gaining doing internal silence as mentioned throughout this website and other practices that salt was an obstacle for me. A serious obstacle and one that was threatening my health and my body was asking me to listen! What I heard is that rock or crystal salt was not necessary or desired for my well being! How could this be, I'd eaten salt my entire life. Going deep inside my consciousness I searched for answers. What I discovered through inner and outer research is that rock salt is not in the correct form for our tissues. (though I do believe a small amount is converted to the correct form by the bacteria in our bodies, though this does not eliminate the damage the remaining salt in us incurs.) We do need sodium though. The good news is that we can get salt that has been converted by the plant kingdom. Once inside a plant's cells, the salt crystal is broken down into ionic form and finally integrates with the many different ingredients that make up the plants cell walls into an integrated and balance sodium product that lends towards balance in the body as well (plants that you are in harmony with that is). For some reason, I'm not entirely fond of spinach or celery, two concentrated sources of plant salts. I eat lots of my own home-made kale chips though, and other fruits and veggies, as well as eggs and some salmon that also have plant salts concentrated in the tissues. So I am doing very well with this and not feeling the loss of salt. I've gotten quite used to my diet and do not miss salt crystal it all. I'm am calmer and more at peace. I sleep better, and am more able to focus. I am less likely to anger and am more willing to yield if needed. An interesting fact, I feel crystal salt actually covers up the taste of food. By the way, brown rice is almost a perfect balance between potassium and sodium. Here is another interesting angle. Some people cleanse their gemstones with salt. What I've intuited is that salt, also being a crystal, may need cleansing itself as well. So why would you use salt to cleanse your gems? No worries though, a solution you can try is to clear your salt. On a dry day with some sun, put your ceramic or glass (not metal) plate of salt crystals on the patio and let it sun for 30-60 minutes depending on the intensity of the sun's radiation. I suggest putting the salt on as flat as plate as possible and stirring occasionally if salt is more than one layer. Then you may use the cleared salt indoors to help draw off impurities from your gems. Make sure and do not leave either the salt or your gems in the outdoors for too long though, or a "sunburn" may result possibly incurring permanent damage from excessive solar radiation. The book that got me started on the gemstone path was "Gifts of the Gemstone Guardians". In this book, the revelation of gem spheres are brought to light, versus the powerful yet often unwisely used gem crystals. One day while explaining the power of the sphere to someone in regards to my special product CHI REPAIR®, I realized the simplest explanation was to point out that crystals have a polarity, while spheres do not and are therefore self balancing. We now go full circle with the beginning of this article. Though it is just a theory at this point, I suggest that because salt is not in the ionic or sphere form but the cubic form, that it directs energy rather than being self balancing. Thus it disrupts the normal balance in the body. The confusion goes on though, as people like the power the salt crystal gives, and it is true we need sodium. But now you have a deeper insight, and can choose the "sphere-ical" salt of plants or concentrated in the animal kingdom for your needs and be wiser off for it. I would love to hear from you regarding your comments or experiences eliminating or at least reducing salt crystal from your diets. Please note: the increased blood pressure that rock salt creates in our circulatory system may be useful for some people in tiny amounts.
